It's that time again! I know I don't play every week, but some weeks are busier than others!





This weeks questions:

1. What are your favorite 3 things about fall?
2. Are you a football fan and if so who is your favorite team?
3. What is your favorite fall scent?
4. So you have seasonal allergies?
5. Have you started Christmas shopping yet?

And my answers: 

1. Everything about fall is my favorite! After living in Arizona for 15 years where we didn't have fall, I am loving it in Wisconsin! The colors, the smells, the crisp air, just all of it!

2. We are not big football fans around here. We pretty much only watch when it hits playoff time. 

3. Hmm.. my favorite fall scent would have to be apple cinnamon! Apples pies baking in the oven (not me, I can't bake pie for nothing!)

4. I DO have seasonal allergies and since moving to Wisconsin they are much much worse!

5. I started my holiday shopping oh, about June. I like to buy things online when they are on sale (woot.com, we love you) and save them the holidays.

1. What is your favorite craft or type of craft and if you are a crafter,how did you get into it?

5. Do you have to worry about getting ready for back to school? 

And here are my answers:

1. I do all kinds of crafts. I used to homeschool my teen until we moved to Wisconsin where the schools are oh so much better than Arizona. Crafting was a big part of our lessons It's always more fun to learn if you can make something while you're doing it. My favorite is machine embroidery. I actually have a website where I sell monogrammed and personalized towels, baby stuff, lots of cute things. I needed a sewing machine, so hubby took it upon himself to get me one for Hanukkah one year. I guess he thought just a sewing machine was too boring so he got me one that does machine embroidery too. I've been hooked ever since! My second fav is paper quilling. I also make cards, etch glass, and try lots of new things.
2. Oh thank heaven for Tivo! We watch a lot of SyFy channel programs, Haven, Eureka, Alphas,  So You Think You Can Dance, Warehouse 13, Master Chef. There are more but most are not playing in the summer.
3. We have someone mow our grass. In Arizona we didn't have grass and now our yard is huge! It takes a riding mower to get it done. So we haven't purchased one of those yet!
4. No projects this week. It's too hot. We've had heat advisories out all week. Besides, the kid has been keeping me too busy being a mom taxi! LOL
5. Yes, we start school in a month. I'm sure we'll need new jeans and lots of supplies!

Here are this weeks questions!

1.. Have you ever attended a professional sports game?

I have been to Chase Field in Arizona to watch the Diamondbacks lose! The venue was more amazing than the game! LOL

2. Have you ever been to a concert and if so which one was your 

ultimate favorite performance?

I've only been to a few concerts, and I have 2 favorites for different reasons. One is Elton John, I saw him in concert a long time ago and he was great! My second favorite is the Tracey Lawrence concert I saw last year at the 4H fair. It was free, the weather was perfect and he was great!

3. Have you ever been to Disneyland or Disney World?

I've been to both. When I was a kid we lived in the LA area so I went to Disneyland 13 times by my 13th birthday! My first time to Disney World was this year. I liked it, but I guess Disneyland is ingrained into me because it's still my fav! Now if you wanna talk Epcot... that was fab!!

4. What is your favorite theme park?

I think after my vacation this year to Epcot I would have to say that is my favorite. The few rides they have are amazing and I loved all the little countries and their re-creations. And oh........ the food!!!!! Anybody have a recipe for Scotch Eggs? And why are they called Scotch eggs if you get them in London?

5. Do you have a favorite vacation spot?

Hawaii... is there any other place to vacation?

Hmm.. green eggs? LOL, NOT! Broccoli, Kiwi, Cucumbers, do cabbage rolls count as green food? I like those too!

Not really.

3. Do you have Irish in you?

Not really.

4. Do you celebrate St. Patrick's Day?

Not really. Oh wait... I was on a roll! We wear green, that's about as far as it goes for us.

4.  What shows are sparking your interest on TV right now?
5. Name 3 things that you think of when you hear the word "GREEN"! 

Here are my answers!

1. Do you pay your bills online or through snail mail?

      I pay mine mostly online, but there is one I send a check for. They have the nerve to charge $10 for an  

      online payment! What is up with that? I refuse to pay it so I send a check every month.

2. How many email accounts do you have?

      Too many!  Probably 5 or 6. 

3. Do you use XM/Sirius, radio, ipod, CD, or etc.. in your vehicle?

       Nope, but my teen is always telling me we need to be able to hook up her iPod! LOL

4.  What shows are sparking your interest on TV right now?

        Interesting question. We never used to watch much 'prime time' TV until we got our Tivo. 

        Now we record all our fav programs so we can watch without commercials. Our list keeps getting 

        bigger. House, Harry's Law, Chuck, The Cape, Fringe, Lie to me. We have 2 Tivo's, one up and

        one down stairs, on Monday nights... we record 5 shows between the two of them! LOL

5. Name 3 things that you think of when you hear the word "GREEN"! 

     Frogs

     Grass

     St. Patrick's Day

Hooo Are You?

I thought this looked like a really cute idea! So I am joining in! It's nice to know a little bit about the people we blog along with!

Here are this week's questions!

1. Do you make a budget and keep it, or just fly by the seat of your pants?

I fly by the seat of my pants! LOL. I don't have a budget, but I use Quicken for all my expenditures. This way I can keep track of where most everything goes.

2. Do you do spring cleaning and if so which month?

I do spring clean... but not in the spring! Usually I do it in January or February. And sometimes again in the fall.

3. Are you a yard sale lover and do you have them and go to them?

I love to go to yard sales. I have only had 1 and it was such a hassle! We have moved to a place where they have them once a year. I might try it one of these years. I always say I will put this or that in a yard sale box and then can't find it!

4. What do you take when you have a headache?

Advil. Fortunately I don't get them much and when I do, it's usually the migraine type and usually caused by my allergies so I can also take allergy meds and those help

5. Name 3 things that you feel lucky to have in your life!
